A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"They have Chicken and Military Soup buffet options now. Set A at RM54.90+, Set B at RM48.90+. With the buffet, you get 20 pieces of fried chicken and they have 5 flavours for you to choose. Good value for money buffet meal."
"I stumbled upon Chicken House at Solaris today and was pleasantly surprised! The food tastes authentic and comforting, it really makes me want to come back and try more. The kimchi pancake had the perfect balance of dough and kimchi (so flavorful!) and the fried chicken was delicious, unlike the usual ones you find elsewhere. Service was warm and welcoming too. Thank you for the great experience, I’ll definitely be back!"
"Their soy sauce chicken and spicy soy garlic chicken taste really good. Light batter and crispy, well seasoned inside out, juicy and taste out of this world. Definetly the best korean chicken I ever had so far. Jjampong taste a bit bland for me. But since its a chicken house so u need to come and enjoy their chicken. Its a must. Great service and atmosphere too. Will come again soon."
"Had half a chicken with a spam potato pancake for 2. Quite a filling meal and enough for 2 people. The half chicken is in soy garlic. As compared to other Korean fried chicken I had, this soy garlic flavor is good too and the chicken is juicy. But honestly, it’s a bit too pricey for half a chicken. Dropped a star from my review cuz the spam potato pancake is not really to my liking. Can’t really taste the flavors. And it’s a bit too dry. Their prices for meals like noodles and rice are pretty okay (RM25++). Parking in this area is really hard to find. Overall, worth the visit if you wanna try their famous fried chicken."
"The fried chicken is really good! Most chicken chain shop tend to overfry the meat and especially the breast meat would be very dry, but the breast meat here were cooked perfectly. Definitely a two thumbs up. The jjeokbal wasn't bad either, didnt had the strong "porky taste". Recommended to try. The pork cutlet was ok, after a few pieces we were kinda "jelak" already cause the crumbs were absorbing alot of the cooking oil. But all and all was ok. The cold noodle was a good add on to cut the oily-ness. The potato and spam pancake was quite heavy because it was really loaded with the potatoes. Would definitely go back for their chicken and jjeokbal."
"Enjoyed the ham military soup and cold noodles very much! Not salty and the cold noodles soup n texture is perfect! Only tried the crispy fried chicken without beer so it was tender. Very lovely and friendly Korean ahjumma owner."
"Since our last visit a year ago, we finally went back to Chicken House in Solaris this afternoon and food remains superb. We ordered the famous soy garlic chicken and sweet sauce chicken which we thought sweet sauce was a bit too sweet for us whereas the soy garlic was simply delicious. Chicken was freshly fried , crispy skin and juicy meat. Seafood pajeon was simply superb, fluffy with loads of seafood on top. We also ordered a bowl of pork belly kimchi food which was just nice. Even the teobokki was a bit spicy for us , we finished it too. It was a hearty meal and we all enjoyed it. There are a few more dishes we would like to try so we will definitely go back again soon in future."
"Went here for dinner with friends, the place boasts an authentic old fashioned Korean restaurant vibe to it with the design of the decor and and posters of Kpop idols from the 2010's Walking in here you feel the welcome by the staff who are Korean making the experience feel more real. We ordered the kimchi seafood soup and it was packed with flavour and not too salty suitable for people in all ages to enjoy. The pancake jeon was a good snack but the one we ordered with cheese lacked flavour, however the the texture and chewiness made up for it as with was rich I would personally recommend their garlic fried chicken as it was explosive hence the name of the restaurant "Chicken House Solarid" the meat being crispy, flaky, and flavourful to the bone. Would definitely come here again for a quick chicken snack next time!"
